Cabinet Design lets you lay out the cabinets for your whole job, room by room, and see an approximate price as you go. It's free, it works on a phone or a computer, and you can save your design and come back to it any time.

How it works
- Name your rooms. Kitchen, master bath, laundry, closet. Add as many as your job has.
- Add each wall. Type in how long the wall is and where the windows, doors and appliances go.
- Place the cabinets. Base cabinets, uppers, tall pantries and drawers, sized to fit your wall.
- Pick the look. Wood or paint, stain color, door style and hardware. The estimate updates with every change.
- Send it to Tyler. He reviews your design, fixes anything that won't work and gives you a real quote at your free design meeting.

Review your job
Floor plan Beta
Send your floor plan. We'll draw a starting design for you.
Have house plans? Instead of measuring every wall yourself, upload the plan and let us do the first pass. The goal is a design you can open, check and change, not a blank page.
- You upload the plan. A PDF of your house plans or kitchen drawings.
- We measure it. Our takeoff measures every cabinet wall, base run, upper run and ceiling height from the plan.
- The design tool draws it. Those measurements come back into Cabinet Design and it lays out the walls and fills them with standard cabinets: sink base and dishwasher in the kitchen, uppers over the base runs, sink bases in the baths.
- You review it. Your preliminary design shows up in My Designs. Move, resize or swap cabinets, pick the look, then send it to Tyler.
This is in Beta. Right now Tyler runs the takeoff for each plan, so a design can take a few business days. It's a good starting point, not a final layout. Tyler checks every design before you get a quote.

Four long days, Monday to Thursday, then Friday, Saturday and Sunday are yours.

We make our own doors, finish in-house, deliver on our own truck and install with our own crew. You'll see your work in a finished kitchen.

How we work
Our guiding principles
- First, do no harm. Before a change or a quick fix, make sure it won't make a worse problem for people, the work or the customer.
- Problems are treasures. A problem you report is raw material for getting better, not a failure. Nobody gets in trouble for speaking up.
- See it. Snap it. One sentence. Back to work. Every problem, near miss or confusing moment goes on the War on Waste board.
- Every problem gets two fixes. Fix this one now, then fix the cause so it can't happen again.
- Ask why. Keep asking why until you find the real cause in the process or the training, not the person.
- Don't pass a defect down the line. Check your work and the work you receive. Stop and fix it instead of passing it on.
- Own it. Shared ownership is no ownership. Every job has one owner.
- Think of the next person. If you see it, fix it or write it down. Don't leave it for the next person.
- Confusion costs money. Unclear drawings or directions are a defect. Ask early; $10 in planning saves $100 in the shop and $1,000 in the field.

Help build cabinets from start to finish: load and unload materials, assemble boxes and drawers, sand, edge band, keep the shop clean and moving. No experience needed. If you can read a tape measure, show up on time and want to learn, we'll train you.

Load the trailer, deliver and install cabinets in customers' homes: set, level, fasten and adjust doors and drawers, and leave every job clean. Careful work and good manners with homeowners matter most. Experience helps, and we'll train the right person.

Put cabinet boxes, face frames and dovetailed drawers together square and true, hang doors and set hinges and slides. You'll learn to read our shop drawings and check your own work before it moves on.

Sand, prime, spray and stain doors and cabinets with Sherwin-Williams water-based finishes. A steady hand and an eye for a smooth, even finish matter most. We'll teach you the spray booth.

Do I need experience?
Not for most shop roles: we train you on the job. Experience helps you start at a higher pay.
What are the hours?

Do I need a driver's license and a car?
Yes. Every role needs a valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle to get to the shop and to job sites.

7007 State Highway 111 East, Yoakum, TX 77995. Installers also travel to job sites across South Texas.
